Roxanne E. La Mar joins our Orange County Office and brings with her over 10 years of experience litigating and defending workers’ compensation claims in California. Her experience includes representing employers, self-insured’s, insurance carriers, and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense including but not limited to Labor Code §132a and Serious & Willful matters. Ms. La Mar’s experience also includes litigating complex claims such as life pension cases, death claims, asbestos cases, and those involving third-party liability.
Carleton H.A. Taber joins our SF Bay North Office and brings with him over 30 years of experience litigating and defending workers’ compensation claims in California. He is a Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law through the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization and represents employers, self-insured’s, insurance carriers, and public entities in all aspects of workers’ compensation defense including but not limited to Labor Code §132a, Serious & Willful and Subrogation matters. Mr. Taber’s notable cases include Benson v. TPMG, Inc. (2009) 170 Cal. App. 4th 1535, where he was solely responsible for overturning 3 decades of law on Apportionment.
