D. Matthew Gale is a Founding Partner of Gale, Sutow & Associates and is the Managing Partner of Gale, Sutow & Associates’ Greater Los Angeles Office.
Mr. Gale is a Certified Workers’ Compensation Specialist by the State Bar of California and has over 25 years of experience litigating and defending Workers’ Compensation claims. Mr. Gale’s areas of specialty include Workers’ Compensation Defense, Complex and Catastrophic Claims, Labor Code §132(a) & Fraud. Mr. Gale currently represents self-insured employers, public & governmental entities, and insurance carriers in all aspects of Workers Compensation Defense.
Mr. Gale is a graduate of Cal State Northridge with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management Systems and began his workers’ compensation career with Travelers Insurance in 1990. While employed at Travelers, Mr. Gale attended Southwestern Law School’s night program where he graduated in 1999. Prior to founding Gale, Sutow & Associates, he worked with Randall B. Schwartz where he represented self-insured employers, insurance carriers and school districts.
Outside of practicing law he enjoys playing soccer with his three daughters.
